boost private investment in china to work on stimulating the economy. macroeconomics comes into play. multiplier? who has the capital? where will this lead us? will china remain the same state it is in today? my friend nancy told me of her trip to cuba where chinese were welcomed with open arms because of their collective communist state. for the chinese born canadians, a trip to cuba on your bucket list?

transfer payments, here we go again. gdp, canadian budget, the works. a few years ago, the lack of jobs drove many citizens to migrate to alberta to enter the oil and gas industries and left the seniors home, waiting for transfer payments to drop by their mail boxes so they could get on with their lives. if i ever visited, i guess i shouldn’t be too shocked to see communities built around senior homes with extreme accessibility for seniors in wheelchairs and walking canes and the like, right?

hard to believe? British Columbia just recently bumped up the minimum wage to $10.25 per hour. But guess what? Major crown corporations are suffering as with small businesses and everything in between and strikes are in the works, oh no. a note on the teachers’ strike here in B.C. though, we could meet your demands of increasing salaries but layoffs are the trade off. less teachers for higher wage? teachers, it’s up to you.
i am pro to the idea of less teachers but more higher quality education. less is more? and maybe there will be incentive and the day will come when teachers make the same salaries as lawyers…. if you care so much to put the effort in your job, it’s bound to happen. then what you will see is that the number of teachers and lawyers are scarce! how does a “good” future look like to you? more or less? of what?

oh boy, i hope canadians close to the borders are not visiting American soil every week for groceries. sure, it’s cheaper. maybe you have time to burn at the border but i do not. bad for canadian gnp, gdp, local community nonetheless. shop local was so bandwagon. now, i’m all up for promoting canadian. if i’m to survive the competitive EVERYTHING market, i might as well help to stimulate the economy. i’m doing my part, what about you?!
